Limited Warranty Policy - Terms and Conditions
- Parts sold are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and material for a period of 12 months from date of installation or 15,000 km, whichever occurs first and will be credited or exchanged free of charge provided that the warranty is accepted
- Warranty forms are available at our store or we can fax you the forms.. This form must be submitted with every alleged defective part.
- This warranty does not cover:
- Parts fitted to vehicles other than what they are originally intended for.
- Parts fitted to vehicles that have been modified from original factory specification.
- Parts which have been installed on vehicles used for commercial or any motorsport activity.
- Electrical Items.
- Liability does not include labour charges, incidental or consequential damages. Obligations under this warranty and any other expressed or implied warranties including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall expire 12 months after installation date.
- All returns must be sent prepaid. All returns must be in resalable condition, and accompanied by a copy of the original invoice.
- Any goods returned requiring repackaging will be subject to 20% reboxing charge.
- Parts shipped in sealed containers are not acceptable for return if seal is broken.
- Goods returned within 14 days of purchase may be credited free of penalty.
- Goods returned between 14 and 30 days from date of invoice will be subject to an automatic 20% restocking charge.
- Returns are not accepted beyond 30 days from the date of the invoice.
- There are no returns on electrical items.
- Certain items are no longer returnable, due to lack of demand, and may be discontinued without notice.
- A credit will be issued for an accepted return. We do not issue refunds.
- Damaged or lost shipments: Altrom will not be responsible for any damage sustained to goods while in transit. Any claims for missing goods must be lodged within 5 days of receipt of shipment.
- Shipping: Orders over minimum freight value can be shipped prepaid by carrier of our choice. All others are shipped freight "collect"
- Errors and omissions: Altrom catalogues are prepared with the utmost care from information researched from the most reliable sources. We would appreciate being advised of any inaccuracies that may come to your attention. We do not assume responsibility for any errors in the information in these publications.
